Recently, two attempted frauds were identified and blocked before they could even be completed. Here, we're sharing the behind-the-scenes story of these events to show you how we protect our community.
Two attempts, zero impact
Within a few days, two suspicious activities were detected on our platform. In both cases, malicious profiles attempted to place orders using indirect methods. Thanks to a combination of internal alerts, consistency checks, and manual validation, the orders were immediately suspended and the attempts neutralized.
No products have left our warehouse. No payments have been finalized. And most importantly, no customer data has been exposed.
Our approach to security
Reench operates on a simple principle: protecting every order as if it were our own. This starts with a secure payment infrastructure using our partners Stripe, Shopify Payments, and MoonPay, all PCI DSS compliant. We utilize AI-powered fraud detection solutions and combine this with human verification for high-value or high-risk orders.
All transactions undergo a risk assessment before being validated. In some cases, payment is only captured at the time of shipment, a measure that reduces potential abuse while ensuring greater security for the customer.
What you don't see, but which protects you
Several layers of protection operate in the background: behavioral analysis, IP verification, stolen card detection, and daily manual monitoring. Our team also investigates the origin of unusual or inconsistent commands.
These measures allow us to maintain an extremely low fraud rate, without compromising the customer experience.

- Use unique and strong passwords for your customer account
- Never share your bank details by email
- Report any suspicious behavior or messages received in connection with an order
